Actor Bruce Dern’s THINGS I’VE SAID, BUT PROBABLY SHOULDN’T HAVE: An Unrepentant Memoir, written with Christopher Fryer and Robert Crane, to Eric Nelson at Wiley, for publication in spring 2007, by Henry Morrison at Henry Morrison (world English).
I find this a bit ironic in light of the Miss Snark/Anne Stuart kerfluffle. I particularly like the subtitle “an unrepentant memoir“.

Two more novels from NYT bestselling author Mary B. Morrison, again to Selena James at Dafina, by Andrew Stuart of The Stuart Agency.
Hmm. Never heard of Mary B. Morrison. This is a deal listed as “Fiction: Women’s/Romance.”

Mari Walker’s FALLING THRU THE CRACK, about a young, Christian mother of three in the middle of a divorce who is plunged into a world of drugs, sex, and violence when reunited with an old high school crush, to Monique Patterson at St. Martin’s, in a two-book deal, by Stephanie Lehmann at the Elaine Koster Agency (NA).
I can’t tell if this is an inspirational title. I also didn’t realize that chick lit author Lehman was an agent. Is everyone who is in the publishing world an aspiring writer?

TV rights to the “For Dummies” series, to Arthur Smith at A. Smith & Co., for development as a variety of series “both educational and entertaining at the same time,” including game shows, by Wiley.
I find this frightening
